Stalking Wild Boar

NIGHT STALKING IN KALKIM

In Kalkım, wild boar hunting is practiced by stalking and/or nocturnal ambush, according to an exclusive 1 x 1 formula, guaranteeing each hunter personalized support by a professional hunting guide.

The hunts take place in vast mountainous territories, covered with majestic and preserved forests.
Nature Tours holds exclusive hunting rights over a group of territories totaling 580,000 hectares, a significant portion of which has never been hunted before.

An abundance of natural food, absolute tranquility, and exceptional natural resting areas characterize these unique biotopes, perfectly known by the Nature Tours teams, natives of the region and deeply connected to these lands.

DAY STALKING ON SNOW IN KALKIM

In the Kalkım region, we also organize an exceptional daytime snow stalking hunt, consisting of following fresh wild boar tracks under winter conditions.

This particularly technical and authentic hunt is only possible during the months of January, February, and March, subject to favorable snow conditions.

It strictly requires excellent physical condition, due to the mountainous terrain, altitude, and the duration of the approaches.

As the season is deliberately very short and selective, any participation requires a very early reservation, as the number of hunters admitted is strictly limited.

FORMALITIES AND DOCUMENTS

A valid passport is required.

Nature Tours handles all administrative formalities, notably the obtaining of the Turkish hunting license and official firearm import permits.

A firearm import form will be sent with your booking file and must be completed with the utmost care.

Each hunter must also be in possession of:

  • their SIA (Firearms Information System),
  • their hunting license,
  • and their hunting civil liability insurance certificate, valid for Turkey.

In accordance with current Turkish legislation regarding hunting and firearms, the rental of weapons to foreign hunters is formally and strictly prohibited.

ACCOMMODATION

The Iliada Hotel (www.iliadahotel.com) offers an elegant and comfortable setting, perfectly suited for hunting stays, both in winter and summer seasons, as well as for accompanying guests and family stays.

To extend the experience, we also offer tailor-made extensions along the Aegean Sea, in Istanbul, or to any other destination of your choice.

HUNTING AREA

The hunting territories are located north of Izmir, in the heart of medium-altitude mountains covered with dense and varied vegetation. The dominant tree species are pine, beech, and oak.

These vast and preserved forests benefit from absolute calm, as they are completely closed to traffic.
They are home to rich wildlife, mainly the hunted wild boar, but also wolves, bears, and roe deer, which are strictly protected.

The Sus Scrofa Attila, an emblematic animal of the region, is renowned for its wariness and intelligence. Its hunting requires cunning, patience, and mastery.

One thing is certain: this exceptional hunting experience will provide you with rare, intense, and absolutely unforgettable emotions.
